We built a giant 3-meter touch-sensitive table from wood and epoxy resin that reacts to every touch with RGB LED lights.

This massive interactive smart table combines woodworking, epoxy resin, custom electronics, hundreds of touch sensors and programmable LEDs in one crazy build.

We prepared and glued the thermo-wood, created a completely new illuminated pattern, poured the epoxy resin in multiple layers, welded a custom steel base, installed hundreds of copper touch antennas and connected our redesigned touch-sensitive circuit boards.

The result is a huge interactive LED table that detects touch and instantly responds with a custom RGB light pattern.

We also redesigned the electronics to make the system modular, meaning this technology can now be used to build touch-sensitive tables in almost any size and layout.

Watch the full DIY build to see how wood, epoxy, LEDs and custom electronics became our biggest smart table yet.
