Is your display not receiving HDR? With Murideo analyzers like the SIX-A and the MU-MON-SING, it's possible to locate which part of a signal chain isn't passing HDR to the display, even in the field.
If your display isn't getting HDR and if you have a Murideo analyzer, here are a few things you can try:
1. Check if your source is outputting HDR.
2. Check the HDMI cable to see if it's capable of HDR.
3. Is there an AVR and is it capable of HDR?
4. Is there an HDMI extender and is it capable of HDR?
5. Is there anything else on the signal path and is it capable of HDR?
6. Replace the unit(s) with ones that can pass HDR.
7. Check if the display is receiving the HDR content. Sometimes TVs have menu settings that need to be changed to view HDR.
