Renaissance Heroes is a free to play 3D fast-paced MMOFPS game set in the 16th century Renaissance period with unique storyline. The game was developed and published by the same company ChangYou.

Based on designs from Leonardo da Vinci, the shooter features both realistic and incredible weaponry. You can choose from one of four different playable characters, all of whom have different combat specializations and storylines:
1.Rossi
- Rifle Attack Damage Bonus
- Increased Max Ammo

2.Barossa
- Headshot Defense
- Special Weapon Attack Damage Bonus

3.Aisha
- Crossbow Attack Damage Bonus
- Increased Max HP

4.Jaque
- Increased Defense
- Increased Max Armor

The game also features three different playable modes: free-for-all, team battle, and one-on-one duels. These modes also have various options, such as rifle only, melee only, and hyper speed. It will allow you to play against various difficulty levels of AI bots, in order to hone your abilities. Eight maps are included, each based on a historical and geographical location. Daily quests and over 100 achievements also are available to be unlocked.

The Closed Beta client will include:

- Various difficulties of Bots to practice against.
- 4 Characters each with their own unique combat specialties and story motivations.
- Daily Quests and over 100 Achievements
- Rage Mode, that will give you extra combat power and survivability when you need it the most.

PROLOGUE:
Leonardo da Vinci was a leader of the scientific revolution. He played the carefree artist, traveling throughout Europe and taking commissions for paintings and sculptures. In truth, his aimless wandering was no such thing. He stayed on the move, always a few steps ahead of Church assassins.
In what was to be the last year of his life, Leonardo left Italy for the French countryside. There, he worked upon his greatest creation yet. He never named the mysterious contraption, but his students took to calling it the Da Vinci Machine. Initially, he had planned to create an alchemical weapon, but Leonardo made an astounding discovery—that with the Machine, man could travel through time and space. Given that power, he could change anything. He could destroy the Church before it even began and create a society founded on reason and logic, not superstition and faith. All he needed to do was create the mechanism.
The Machine was a circle of obelisks placed within a particular pattern. Twisting glass tubes ran between, carrying volatile chemicals and mixing them together in mysterious patterns. When activated those chemicals would jet from their tubes and become a carefully balanced, and very dangerous, alchemical mixture. Assuming he had the mixture exactly right, Leonardo could then send a human being to another time or place. If he had the mixture wrong...
He and his students traveled throughout Europe, building copies of the prototype and hiding them from the prying eyes of the Church. Even so, all of their caution couldn't prevent rumors of the Machine. Nor was the Church the only interested party. Royalty, nobles, and a Sultan from the far east all knew the Machine existed. And all of them wanted its power for themselves.
