Dungeons & Dragons Online: Eberron Unlimited is free to play (you can also use real currency for special items, extra characters etc.) 3D fantasy MMORPG set in the world of Eberron. The game is published by Turbine and developed by the same company.

DDO is played from a third person perspective. There is the option to move the camera view to first person perspective. The game is controlled either by keyboard or gamepad.

The main point in Dungeons & Dragons online is to complete quests, dungeons, kill monsters and level up own characters, free user has access only for two character slots. When creating a character player can choose stat points, skill points, starting feats, play style, sex, race, path, look and class.

There are many ways to modify the character like choosing the hair, eyebrows, eyes, nose, lips, facial hair etc. Player can also gain new skills, spells and equipments during the adventure.

There are 3 different play styles that are divided into eleven different classes each of these classes also includes atleast 3 different paths:
1.Melee
- Fighter
- Barbarian
- Paladin
- Monk (must be purchased)

2.Spell
- Sorcerer
- Cleric
- Wizard
- Favored Soul (must be purchased)

3.Specialist
- Ranger
- Rogue
- Bard

At the time there are 8 different races, 4 of them are free and other 4 have to be bought:
1.Human (free)
2.Elf (free)
3.Halfing (free)
4.Dwarf (free)
5.Warforged (must be purchased)
6.Half-Elf (must be purchased)
7.Drow Elf (must be purchased)
8.Half-Orc (must be purchased)

There are five different difficulty levels for quests/dungeons: Solo, Normal, Hard, Elite and Epic. Dungeons can be completed by soloing, doing them in groups (up to 6 players) or even with raids(up to 12 players) the quality of loots depends on the difficulty level of dungeon, the chests in hard and elite is better than in other dungeons.
