Living in a moment where trust in media is fragile, information is abundant, and communities are often portrayed through narratives of crisis rather than possibility. In this political/social climate, media literacy is essential. HBCUs have a responsibility to train journalists who can critically evaluate information, avoid harmful framing, and report solutions with integrity and accountability.
