As you might’ve seen in the title and thumbnail we got some pretty huge hazbin hotel news. I’ll break it down.
So today at the san diego comic con we got some awesome news. The first comes in a tweet from the hazbin hotel twitter. It reads, “The Hazbin Hotel is open for business! Season 3 and Season 4 are on the way.”
Included is a short little teaser video which i’ll have rolling in the background.
So obviously this is fantastic news. Hazbin hotel season 1 was a huge success so it makes logical sense for amazon and a24 to want more seasons. Personally i’m not really shocked. From the way viv talked about the show previously she stated she wanted as many seasons as possible. So this means as long as the show does well, it’ll continue to be made. Compared to helluva which has a very set in stone 4 season story.
Additionally at this event vivzie stated that vox will be the main antagonist of season 2. This makes alot of sense since vox was quite a central character in season 1, however alot of time had to be given to developing the rest of the cast and especially heaven. We’ve seen vox’s voice actor christian borle in the recording booth several times which just further reiterates how many voice lines vox is getting. Season 1 also clearly set up vox and alastor’s rivalry. So season 2 will delve into that a bit more, and perhaps we’ll find out how they fell out and what their previous partnership was like.
Vox was one of my favourite characters in season 1 so i’m over the moon with this news. I really can’t wait to see him again in season 2 and i hope he gets a bunch more fun songs.
