Over the next several months, my friends Davood and Daniel (see channel information below) and I have decided to read Hayden White’s “Tropics of Discourse: Essays in Cultural Criticism.” This week, we discuss just the eighth essay in the collection, "The Noble Savage Theme as Fetish". If all goes well, we plan to post future discussions of the remaining twelve essays at the pace of about one every 2 weeks. I hope that you enjoy the conversation as much as we did!
