Over the next several months, my friends Davood and Daniel (see channel information below) and I have decided to read Hayden White’s “Tropics of Discourse: Essays in Cultural Criticism.” This week, we discuss just the second essay in the collection, “Interpretation in History.” If all goes well, we plan to post future discussions of the remaining twelve essays at the pace of about one every 2 weeks.
