This is the Austin Mini (Minibusa) of Steve Midgley, powered by a 2006 Suzuki GSX-R 1300 Hayabusa engine, fitted in the rear/middle of the car and chain driven to the rear wheels, making it RWD. Producing approximately 200Hp/11.000Rpm, all this power has only 620Kg to move.
All hand-built by Mr. Midgley in under 3 years, this little machine has went on to win the New Zealand Super Mini Challenge open class championship 3 times and the overall championship twice. Having competed in many hill climbs and street sprints during this time period, it has also been a regular on Rod Millen´s Leadfoot Festival in the last editions, where it was possible to watch it attack this unique driveway in anger.
