Those of you who demanded a 'different game' - rejoice! I'm back to Splinter Cell with Blacklist.
Blacklist has its flows, but to be perfectly honest I feel like it does some of those side-quests and certain main missions super well and it might just be low key 2nd best game in the series (after Chaos Theory that is).
It is kind-of a Metal Gear action, except its not Japanese or autistic, doesn't have porn magazines to lure guards into and well, lots of other things... but between MGSV and this, with this representing an old school 'small sandbox' hand-made stealth cocktail - I'm gonna side with Blacklist.
Hawkins Seafort is one of those 'good' levels, it isn't really that sophisticated but its layout allows you to navigate inside however you want, pair that with a ton of cool gadgets that are at your disposal and you will get a recipe for fun. I even forgot how good the soundtrack here is.
Anyway, I did multiple runs with those two being the most interesting. First run is my 'first run' since 2013, so you can feel me experience it for almost the first time. Second run is the one I did for fun, toying with my food and using various cool gadgets like TRI-ROTOR (for some reason I can't call it anything else other than QUAAAAD)... I guess back then drones were a damn novelty? Anyway, if you enjoy the stealth part of MGS - get this game, chances are its gonna scratch the itch. Cheers!
