Being single used to be treated like something women needed to “fix”… but somewhere along the way, the internet completely flipped the script. Now being single is a flex, “decentering men” is everywhere, and sometimes even admitting you want a relationship feels controversial. 😭
In today’s video, we’re talking about the rise of single-by-choice culture, why relationships and boyfriends are suddenly being called embarrassing, the pressure to prove you don’t need a relationship, and whether we’ve gone from empowering women to creating an entirely new standard for how women are “supposed” to live.
Because maybe the problem was never being single OR being in a relationship… maybe it’s the fact that women can’t seem to do either one without the internet having something to say about it.
