🏕️ Haven Tent Setup Overview
✅ 1. Tree Selection + Strap Setup
Find two healthy, sturdy trees and wrap the straps around them, pulling the webbing through the loop. The head-end strap should sit slightly higher than the foot-end to optimize your sleeping angle.
✅ 2. Hammock + Mattress Setup
Clip the Haven XL into the suspension system. Add light tension to the ridgeline — it doesn’t need to be tight.
Insert the spreader bars and use the double-layered stuff sack to inflate the pad using the bellows system. A couple of breaths may be needed to top it off, especially in colder conditions. Tuck each corner of the pad into the built-in pockets.

✅ 3. Get Cozy
Sit, grab the ridgeline for balance, and lay back. Keep your hips centered in the hammock arc for the best lay-flat experience. If the pad shifts, use your elbow between the pad and wall to re-center it, but don’t pull on the spreader bars.
The Lounge Strap lifts the head end of the hammock, converting your tent into a chair. Adjust it from inside or outside for lounging or reading.
✅ 4. Bug Net and Rainfly Setup
The integrated bug net has four zippers for full access and can be completely stashed in the end pocket.
To set up the rainfly, slide the carabiners through the fly eyelets and clip them into the suspension. You can guy it out wide for airflow or batten it down for storm mode. Use the internal hooks to secure the fly in rough weather.
Important: don’t anchor the corner toggles to the ground. They’re not load-bearing. Use the Lounge Strap connection or the gear sling points if your model has them.
✅ 5. Ridgeline Storage
Keep your gear dry and within arm’s reach by hanging your pack from the ridgeline with a carabiner. Along with the 6 big pockets, the Ridgeline is perfect for your backpack, headlamp, or our RidgeLight.

No trees? No problem. Keep the pad and spreader bars in place. Use two trekking poles angled 8–12 inches out from the head and foot ends. Clip the guyline into the carabiner and slip it over the pole handle, then stake the guyline ends outward. Raise the pole height for more interior space.
✅ 7. Pack Down
Leave the rainfly attached for fast future setup. Remove the pad and bars, zip the bug net, fold the hammock in half, and clip the carabiners together. Place the bars inside, roll tightly, and slide the entire system into the stuff sack, ready for your next night under the stars.
