Aka 👉 when a client asks you to do something that is outside of your “job scope”.
This question comes up a lot in the copywriting community...
In my opinion, when a client asks you to do additional work, it’s *usually* a GOOD THING.
It means they love working with you, trust you and want you to take on additional responsibilities.
However...
If this work wasn’t initially agreed upon in your Statement of Work contract, then you’re under no obligation to accept 📝
It all comes down to:
✅ Do you like working with the client?
✅ Are you interested in the tasks they want you to take on?
It can be that simple!
