Sometimes you get the 'best' tools, in the hopes that your worries will be over, only to find that the UI of the tool doesn't vibe for you. This is my story with the Analog Rytm MkII - for years I've felt I couldn't get beyond scratching its surface, and now instead I'm trying out the Erica Synths Perkons, which sacrifices a lot of versatility for a wonderful immediacy & playability.
