I managed just over 600 miles to arrive at my destination on Day 3 of my travels. My last day started at the Caddilac Ranch in Amarillo, TX and ended in Overguaard, AZ. My apoligies for not getting this episode uploaded till tonight (24 hours late). It took me a while to get the WiFi code for my in-laws. The Sportwagen TDI is a monster for road tripping--fantastic fuel economy with go-fast acceleration and easy passing of the big trucks out on the super-slab. I'll be heading East in a few days and I'll catch you on the flip-side. I sadly didnt do any video capture on the way home. I just drove without stopping and managed to get 1000 miles the first day and finished up with a total of 761 mi. the second day. My total round-trip to AZ and back to TN was 3,961 miles. The SONY ZV-1 and the VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI were my constant companions. On a long trip like that, your sense of adventure yields to wanting to get home asap once you turn East. I really enjoyed the trip!
