The Havasu Canyon Trail descends into Havasu Canyon (a side canyon of the Grand Canyon) and passes by several stunning waterfalls: Fifty Foot Falls, Navajo Falls, Havasu Falls, Mooney Falls, and Beaver Falls. The trail from the Hualapai hilltop to Beaver Falls is 13 miles/21 km long and it is of exceptional beauty. The color of Havasu Creek makes the waterfalls and the travertine pools look amazing.

Palmyra is on the UNESCO World Heritage List: An oasis in the Syrian desert, north-east of Damascus, Palmyra contains the monumental ruins of a great city that was one of the most important cultural centres of the ancient world. From the 1st to the 2nd century, the art and architecture of Palmyra, standing at the crossroads of several civilizations, married Graeco-Roman techniques with local traditions and Persian influences.(quote from whc.unesco.org/en/list/23/)
Parts of Palmyra have been destroyed by ISIS during the Syrian civil war.

White Rim Road is one of the top scenic roads in the world. It offers incredible views of the Island in the Sky section of the Canyonlands National Park, Colorado River, Green River and distant views of the other two sections of Canyonlands: The Maze and The Needles. The road is only accessible with 4WD, motorcycles and mountain bikes. Permit is required to enter the road and to use the camp sites.
