In this video I volunteer at a event called the "Spirit's Speakeasy" at the Deering Estate in Miami (which is a mansion that is known for being haunted) and as volunteers we get to dress up like we are from the 1920's and help the guests use the pendulums which helps them communicate with the spirits that reside in the mansion.
note*Everything in reference to the "spirits" and "ghosts" in the video is to be taken with a grain fo salt. I am not an expert or very experienced/knowledgable on anything related to the paranormal. This is all just meant to be for fun and to share an experience.

Join the spirits of the Deering Estate and step back in time to the roaring twenties for our inaugural Spiritsâ Speakeasy cocktail party. Enjoy Prohibition Era cocktails, complimentary hors dâoeuvres, live music, and ghostly encounters. Take a walk through the historical homes where you will be in the presence of the spirits that call Deering home while sipping on classic cocktails from the 1920âs. The French Horn Collective featuring Shira will be entertaining the ghosts and their guests throughout the evening with a unique and refined French swing.
We encourage guests to get into the âspiritâ of the event and dress in 1920âs attire. Prizes will be awarded for best dressed individual, couple, & group. Speakeasy password will be provided with RSVP."

Charles Deering Estate was the Florida home of Charles Deering until 1927 when he died at the estate.

We are a couple from Miami who decided to start vlogging our adventures living in Florida together. We are lovers of Orlando and Disney/Theme Parks. Join us as we explore local events/festivals, entertainment/attractions, restaurants/bars, and we do Groupon reviews too! We also travel to new destinations on our channel, looking for new theme parks to explore, roller coasters to ride, restaurants to eat at, and whatever thrills we can find next. :)
