Recently a Scottish youtuber by the name of “Count Dankula” was arrested, tried and convicted under the 2003 Communications Act in the UK, of using a communications network to spread “grossly offensive” material.

Dankula had made his dog react to an anti-semitic slogan, and taught it to do a “Roman salute”.

The online anti-femosphere has been understandably up in arms about this situation, and here I break down what’s been going on with the law, other cases that have occurred in the past, my take on it all, and my views on free speech overall.
