Hello Wastelanders!
This is a song parody I've been thinking about doing for a while... I've done plenty of the classical Fallout-era songs, many of which I contextualized as Ministry of Morale propaganda pieces.
So now I thought it'd be fun to add a few things to my Fallout: Equestria discography in a Vietnam-inspired anti-war theme.
This one was an obvious choice.
This is the song about a basic soldier drafted into the war, who watched his whole world be taken away. Now every morning he wakes up thinking it could be his final day.
Wow, a fresh F:E parody, I WONDER WHAT THAT COULD MEAN?!?!
A parody of and instrumental by: The Animals, "House of the Rising Sun"

LYRICS:
There is a house so far from here
Far from the Rising Sun
It’s a place I see in dreams only now
While clutching close my gun
My mother was a tailor
Now left with just camo
My father just another field hand
Now reapin’ just ammo
The only thing that ain’t at war
Is that house so far from here
Where I played and sung, and didn’t fear the sun
Taking me so far from there
Oh mother, tell your children,
Not to do what I have done
Spend your last days, far from this bloody fray
And the war of the burning sun.
Well the day gave into moonlight,
But we all march on the same
Cause I know that day, ain’t ever far away
When I finally lose this game
Well, I hear that trumpet blowin’
To sound the rising sun
I’d try to flee, but there’s no house for me
And nowhere left to run
