National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett said he would accept the nomination to replace Jerome Powell as Fed chair if he was offered the job. Hassett says he expects the Federal Reserve to lower interest rates by 25 basis points at its next meeting in December. Hassett speaks to Bloomberg host and Carlyle Group co-founder and co-Chairman David Rubenstein at an Economic Club of Washington event.
