With Hasbro's Beyblade X now available it is time for me to try it for the first time! @lemardevente2284 got the brand new Hasbro Beyblade X Xtreme Battle Set which came with the Xtreme Beystadium, Dagger Dran 4-60R aka Dran Dagger, Tusk Mammoth 3-60T and 2 Black Entry Launchers!
Long-time Beyblader, Lemar Devente got his hands on the new Hasbro Beyblade X Xtreme Battle Set so I decided to give Hasbro’s Beyblade X a try!
First of all, for me while the stadium is different I don’t see that as a bad thing but rather a different experience.
The baby launchers are for babies, reminds me of the old plastic Gen block launchers. Not really a positive or negative for me unless I were to face off against someone with a proper launcher.
The beyblades, which are the most important thing for me are pretty much the same to the original Takara Tomy Beyblades. So if you needed an excuse to get a second copy of Dran Dagger and you wanted to get into Hasbro’s Beyblade X, here is your chance.
Tusk Mammoth does feel like a lighter version of Scythe Incendio. I do feel chain incendio would have been a better Beyblade to include but at least Tusk Mammoth is a Hasbro exclusive Beyblade so its inclusion genuinely gave me the Hasbro Beyblade X experience.
It may seem in the video that I am dogging on the baby launcher but it really isn’t that serious, these were my unscripted first thoughts on the set and I just said what came to mind rather than thinking deeper as to why certain things were included or done for this set.
