This is the Silver 2005 I-Dog Pup (my fourth one) that was a Savers find back in 2021! I got this pup for only $3.99 at one of the Savers locations in Las Vegas and it was so worth the deal for this guy which I knew I just had to rescue her. Funny thing was she was in a bag with a few other plastic toys when I first got her, but already got rid of those because they were trash, but this Silver Pup isn’t though as that was the only reason why I found her at Savers and really happy that I did. She also had batteries in her that time I got her as well (did change them afterwards) and when I turned her on, she surprisingly had the uncommon golden yellow lights lol

She’s in good condition and works great with no issues. She appears to be normal pitched but when I compared it with my other Silver Pups I have, she sounds slightly higher pitch, so it might be in between normal and high pitch basically. This one also lights up golden yellow lights which are actually uncommon to see on most other Silver 2005 Hip-Hop I-Dog Pups because ones that flash neon yellow lights are much more common to see than ones that flash golden yellow lights like mine does which appear to be later release versions with improved yellow lights that stand out way better. It may look orange but it’s actually a much darker shade of yellow which is very unique for this one.

This is also my fourth one as I do have a first, second, and third one(s) of this exact I-Dog but two flash neon yellow lights and one flashes golden yellow lights just like this one. This is also the only I-Dog that is silver!

Basic info: This is the Silver 2005 I-Dog Pup that plays Hip-Hop Riffs and flashes all lights Neon Yellow or Golden Yellow. It was the second color of the 2005 Pups produced and has epic hip-hop beats. It plays a total of 12 Riffs which is divided into three remixed riffs in each mood it has except sick. The Silver 2005 I-Dog Pup was released in mid 2006 along with the other three 2005 Pups (the Pink, Blue, and Black ones) after the success of the Original 2005 I-Dog selling really well and it was the time when Hasbro officially announced that the 2005 I-Dog Pups and the I-Cat were in the making and to be released in stores back in 2006 which definitely sold really well in the past years of the popularity of the I-Dog rising more and more during the early 2000s. The 2005 I-Dog Pups were all available for quite a long time in stores which was in the years of 2006-2008. The Silver 2005 I-Dog Pup is common to find just like all 2005 Pups are, especially based on how well it sold back in 2006 when it was first released. Also, the 2005 I-Dog Pups were released in stores after the Japanese Sega I-Dog Minis which were released in Japan in early 2006, and the Hasbro Canadian I-Dog Minis (that each had a little bit of different functionalities) in late 2005 and were more of approved ones with a try me switch and a little more functionality than what the Minis had which Hasbro made more complete for the 2005 Pups during the release of them all. Fun fact, the Silver I-Dog Pups actually have two different shades of yellow for their lights which are Neon Yellow and Golden Yellow. The ones that flash neon yellow lights were released earlier and resembles more of green than yellow which is why it flashes neon yellow lights and it doesn’t show much yellow at all. The ones that flash golden yellow lights were released later and resembles more of a darker combination of orange and yellow which is why it flashes golden yellow lights and it really stands out more better and definitely more of a darker yellow than orange than what it may look like.
This metallic silver pup is always ready to move and groove to your tunes whether it’s hip-hop (even rap) or a different genre type of music you play for him, and isn’t even shy about that. Turn up your music loud, and watch him dance along to it and will flash his yellow lights to the rhythm while getting it down to the music playing. The I-Dog Pups have fantastic musical skills, despite being a tiny puppy I-Dog, and plays very good riffs to describe how he/she feels by how much you play/take care of it by giving attention (double nose clicks) and plenty of music it needs from you! Perfect for those who are a big fan of Hip-Hop just like this I-Dog Pup plays them in it’s own special way.
