Building your own scenery was a huge part of the Wargaming hobby (still is in some spheres) but with hard plastic kits and 3D printing, it's become less common. I always felt that this was one of the most fun aspects of the hobby and a great way to bring life to your gaming board.
In this tutorial, I show you how I approach making scenery for Warhammer 40K (or any other such as Age of Sigmar, Battletech, Trench Crusade, Fallout, Star Wars and Conquest amongst others.) And the best part is, is that they can be made from trash around your house, your bitz box (most important) as well as a trip to the hardware store for really cheap components.
