We are very honored to present a video of Harvey Pittel's visit with the founding saxophonist of the "French School" of classical saxophone playing. Mr. Pittel visited with Mr. Mule in May of 1993 at the roof garden of his home in Sanary, France. In the video they discuss stories of Mr. Mule's early development as a musician, a tale of when he played the "Brandenburg Concerto" on soprano saxophone with Pablo Casals conducting, and many other things that would interest any student of the saxophone.
The recording of Ibert's "Concertino da Camera" that accompanies this video is performed and provided by Harvey Pittel. It can be found on his album "Moving Along."
