Hello and welcome to Old Ways Gardening and Prepping.🍀 Would like to welcome you each out to my yard with me on this beautiful but warm morning. Today I am finally getting around to harvesting some of the amazing bamboo growing on the property. Have been wanting to do it since we moved in.
There is so many amazing things you can do and build with bamboo. My focus on this harvest is flutes, blowguns and wind chimes. It is always a given that I will end up with jewelry supplies as well. Just can not say how happy I am to have these blessings and don't have to go tramping in the deep woods to harvest them. Going to be busy for a while once they are dried and ready to work with. Also definitely looking forward to seeing them this spring to harvest bamboo shots to eat.
