Vindicator has been strong for a few patches in the past already, but I never really got to it, because there were always some, in my opinion, superior specs available. Now the landscape changed and it looks like Vindicator might be one of the best dps specs to play. Based on some very rough, first numbers, it looks like doing the normal bench rotation is relatively comparable to just camping on Greatsword. The latter is of course easier to execute and what I did in this run, swapping just to Swords for getting Sigil stacks. Maybe it will turn out that bench rotation is more dps overall, however, it is clearly evident that either of the playstyles is perfectly fine to play and performs very well.

This strategy revolved around placing and cleaving Malices with condi Virts. Thereby, no immobilze is needed, which opens up the healer spot for a Healchrono. This further allows to let the Healchrono run Portal, such that all condi Virts can run their full dps loadout. PoV Showcase for Voidlounge. The most important and impactful changes are that we use Holy Reckoning for a plethora of Might now, which also makes Scepter unnecessary and allows Sword for Fury and blinks. Furthermore, Staff 5 and Sanctuary have nice CC uses during invisibility, which help a lot with consistent and timely CCs. The other big change is Relic of Resistance: it triggers AoE Resistance after using an Elite skill. This works with Feel my Wrath!, or Heavens Palm based on their short cd. While Heavens Palm is usually very nice for the extra CC, the window for Resistance is actually quite small, especially if you miss Quickness (which can happen as kite). Therefor Id recommend to run FMW for an easier time triggering Resistance properly (and shifting the focus for CC onto Staff 5 and Sanctuary).
The updates in this patch are very good for Willbender. The boon output is plentyful and its also relatively straightforward to get into.
