Each year, The Wadsworth selects two student portfolios from entries from across Hartford Public Schools for the award of a scholarship to the Hartford Art School Pre-Collegiate Visual Arts Portfolio Workshop. The Hartford Art School hosts this unique educational experience that connects select high school students with other artists, challenges them to think in new ways, and teaches them to creatively problem solve over the summer break—all while creating new artwork to build their portfolio.
