HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS! I'm still here making videos and you're still here watching them (and making your own)... this is crazy; in a very good way.
It feels like I keep saying the same thing each time. Video editing is saving my life. This is not a stupid cheesy sentence, this genuinely is the complete truth. Then again, truth -sometimes- is only a matter of point of view.
I honestly don't know how I feel about 2015. It felt like I was the happiest girl in the world when I was 17, and this might sound stupid but it feels like, since I've been 18 recently, I fell down and lost myself again, even when I thought that I had reached a point where I discovered some things about me. I feel like I need to say this because it's present in my videos as well, it's been hard for me to edit as I used to, I don't know how to explain it. Video editing will and always has helped me to find my way, but it seems to get harder sometimes and I can't really figure out why. Maybe this -this YT channel- is all I've ever dreamt of, but I reckon it's more complicated than that in general. I don't even know what I'm saying.
My point is, you guys help me so much, but this is all so freaking complicated. Last night I was at a party and there was this voice in my head which kept repeating "what the hell am I doing here?" and I couldn't help but notice that I was waiting for someone to get me out of here, to see if I was better off alone or not, to try to figure out if someone could actually figure this out for me. And I was watching people dancing thinking about YouTube and Twitter and 2011 but most of all I was asking myself WHY am I thinking about all this?!
And there's also all those questions that I keep asking myself, I'm not even sure what questions they are, and even video editing can't help me out and this is freaking me out.
I honestly think there's something wrong with me lol.

Because I like to think that sometimes I ship them not because of their potential romance but because of their very friendship. What it would be like to be with someone with whom you share an emotional connexion as a friend.
Maybe someday it will come out. But for now there will be no blue overlay in the video.

WELL WELL WELL! WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY! And it is not over yet!!
Basically, my day was full of people singing (THREE FREAKING TIMES) Happy Birthday to me, before my philosophy class, before lunch and DURING lunch. Then they started to give me loads of chocolate (Im not kidding) and DRAWINGS about HARRY POTTER. YES YOU HEARD ME WELL.
Not to mention the letter Ive received from Morgane with a wonderful necklace with the word Always engraved on it. And Ive been receiving tweets of birthday wishes ALL DAY. LITERALLY ALL DAY!!! SO YEAH I AM SO HAPPY I CANNOT HOLD MY HAPPINESS.
AND THEN I SAW VIDEOS DEDICATED TO ME AND I WATCHED THEM AND I SCREAMED AND-
okay I have to calm down.
EDIT : SOMEONE OFFERED ME A FREAKING TIME TURNER!!!!! I AM DYING.
Im gonna try to speak about this video and forget about my birthday. Because this video is really important to me! I just turned 17 years old, I can now use magic outside school (come on people, the first thing I said when I woke up was lumos it feels so great -YES I AM CRAZY-)
BACK TO THE VIDEO and to my own interpretation of it!
This video is odd. Its very happy and very sad at the same time, and it depends on how you look at it. Thats why I love it so much. Happy because we think about the wonderful journey that Jo had to offer, sad because its about sacrifice and loss for what is right, and for love as well. Its Harry Potter.
This is that strong emotion that doesnt have a name that Ive always wanted to create in a video. This feeling of hope mixed with despair and passion. Its very complex and yet so simple : we cant feel happiness without having to deal with pain and sadness, right?
Its everything that there is behind a clip, behind a video. Its everything that there is behind a person, in that case the one who made it : me. A story, an experience. And this changes it all. It means everything.
We all have a story to tell, we just have a different way to show it. This story here is mine and even though you cant really see it, you can at least feel a part of it.
Its supposed to be a very short project but it doesnt mean that its not strong, and what might seem like random clips sometimes in here is just my way for you to bring some moments of the saga back to your memory. Its all for the nostalgia of Harry Potter I guess xD
What is really important about video editing (to me) is to produce an emotion, a feeling, because thats what makes it meaningful and real. It creates an impact on peoples mind.
Being a video editor brought me so much guys. You brought me so much yourselves! I owe a great deal to KiwiiChann and to everyone on YouTube, Twitter, and basically everything that is related to internet..!

First of all, this video was super mega hard to do.. and even harder to render (basically, it took me like an entire day for the rendering which couldnt stop to stop [lol.] and making the clips look wrong and blahblahblah) whatever I finally managed to upload it and theres still mistakes in it, it looked much better on vegas but its not my worse video either, so Im not unhappy xD
Then, this is my entry for The Hunger Games Competition, I passed the 2nd round, and I hope Ill survive on the third one xD
We had to make a video about the story of the fandom wed chosen, and since Harry Potter is my favorite one I made this tribute and I really hope youll enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it :)
I thought, since it was an HP tribute, Id use the moviess soundtracks as well, Im so in love with them, the only problem I had while I was working on it was that it gave me too many feels.. you know, the Harry Post Potter Depression will NEVER end, so as the magic of this epic saga ! =D
I tried to show how the only thing that could help Harry to destroy Voldemort was love. How love was the reason for every single one to keep fighting. Harry couldnt have done this by his own, and love is the only thing that Voldemort never knew. With all the bad and good memories Harry and his friends had, it was the only way out.

This is going to be a lonnnng description, Im emotional, I dont exactly know why, but if you read all of this, thank you so much for your bravery xD
a Dan/Emma video FROM MEEE!! I wanted to do that AGES AGO but I never did because I never could find some footages in good quality. And I still didnt but I really couldnt resist, I love them so much. (if you have some links in good quality about these two though I wouldnt say no xD) SO SORRY ABOUT THE CRAPPY EDITING. I did this in less than an hour, so yeah..
I couldnt help it! This morning I had my science exam, it was pretty easy and it also were the last time I ever did science. I AM SO HAPPY. Now I will be able to focus entirely on french and english literature, and Ill discover philosophy next year, I cant wait!
So I still have one exam left, the french oral one on June 30th. I know I should be working right now but I really HAD to make a video. Video editing is a part of me and its the best way to express myself.
This year was amazing. I am not alone. Ive never been alone on YouTube, but now I am not alone at school. I have truly amazing friends, and I dont know if theyll ever read this, but I am so grateful.

I didnt miss her birthday, I had sent her a video of myself talking and reading a letter to her, I sent her a keychain of the Eiffel Tower, and this isnt the big video I planned to offer her yet, but as I said before I had to edit something, and I really wanted to give it to her.
This girl is wonderful. Morgane is my everything. I think about her every single day, and I know shes thinking about me too, because thats just who we are.

I wasnt lying one year ago when I said that this year was going to be amazing, because it WAS! And its not over yet!
I cant say that video editing saved my life because it actually MADE my life. And before this little speech goes too riddikulus and emotional Im going to stop talking about how video editing makes me feel.

Im pretty proud of this video! I think that you guys already know that Harrys my favorite character EVER (like really) so I obviously had to make a video about him for this very special day :D
I entirely focused my work on the moment in the fifth book where Harry basically destroys Dumbledores office after Sirius death... Its one of my favorite scene and I really think it shows a lot about his character, Im so sad this scene wasnt in the movies... Anyway, then I heard this song on an episode of The100 (which Ill finally be able to vid btw because my internet connexion IS BACK *PARTY HARD*) and it automatically made me think of him! The lyrics are made for this scene and for how much Harry cared for everyone, and thats how he managed to keep fighting even though he was hurt.
So pay attention to the song because its really important in this video. As you may have noticed (or will notice if you read the description box first) I have put some Harry+Hermione moments in here. Now, PLEASE believe me when I say that its not because I ship them (because we all know I do) but in this video its not the reason why I did it. I did it because I thought about the quote of J.K. Rowling : It was Hermiones journey as much as Harrys at the end. I just thought that it could be included in this video properly. Besides, the lyrics she wants to drown and I break the chains at 0:50 made me think of the lyrics of OChildren, the song which was playing during the dance scene in DH1 : Oh little train wait for me, I was held in chains but now Im free. I reckon it matters to know why I put this scene here.
The rest of the lyrics flows easily with the footage. I hope you will enjoy!

FIRST TIME VIDDING THE HUNGER GAMES. Third crossover couple (arthur&hermione, harry&caroline). WHERE IS MY AWARD ??! xD
I planned to do this one for a long time, because EVERY video about Harry and Katniss were the same : they actually loved each other. But I always saw their potential relationship in another way. What if they actually feared one another? What if they knew that the other was powerful, able to win the games, was dangerous ? What if they were obssessed by each other, but not because theyre in love. Only because the main point is to kill or to be killed. So that would create sort of a hate obssessional relationship, which I find extremely interesting, and thats what I tried to show here.
The video is focused on the very end of the Hunger Games. Who will survive ? Katniss and Harry have to make a choice, and despite all the memories they kept in mind from the very beginning, who will act first..?

I definitely have a problem with YouTube, Ive been trying to send private messages for like a week now and I think its still not working since no one actually answers to me LOL. But Ill be on vacations on Saturday so Ill try to fix everything before things get worse.
Im currently reuploading all my HP movies because of the quality, so I wont post any videos before a week or two. Honestly my clips always are in an awful quality even in 720p on YT so Ive got to fix that too :P
Finally, Im kind of super depressed right now because of my Harpsichord teacher, my parents blahblah; so expect a new emotional HP video when Ill get the clips in high quality =P
