I’m not really into Halloween, but hey it’s October and this song is kind of Halloween-ish. Also, the last song I uploaded took a few months longer to make than I expected and I had to do two different versions of it for some reason (both are linked below), and this song needed almost no work so it’s a welcome break, even though I’m also uploading two versions of it, this one on piano and the next on harpsichord.
This is the song that is sung by the Hogwarts choir in the beginning of “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban”, conducted by Professor Flitwick, who’s had a dramatic makeover since his last appearance. I did not transcribe this as I got the sheet music directly from the film’s official piano book (also linked below). The music itself was composed by the legendary John Williams, who seemingly cannot produce something bad, and the lyrics, which do not appear in this cover were adapted from Shakespeare’s “Macbeth”. I have them listed below also, in case you were curious or if you want to sing along or something. I don’t know why you would and I wouldn’t, but hey do whatever you want.
