it might be more accurate to call these modernism, but I didnt know about it then, and after all, something clicked for the first time when I heard about surrealism, so Im not going to let this go.
I got so attached to one of my own characters over the years, this connection has been getting stronger and stronger, and when I feel down, I always rely on this - fiction is incredibly important.
About the last words at the end, I just looked for some antonyms of a term thats been hurting me more than it should have in the first place. I thought it was pretty inspiring when it came to that video, and it also added some kind of a silver lining! Hell knows we need it these days.

iM HAPPY THIS COLLAB MAKES ME HAPPY
you guys may know that weve both spent a week together in the netherlands (which resulted in the vlog ive made recently) and it was probably one of the best weeks of my entire life.
now; ive started working on this collab two days before i actually took the train to see emma, but i was already feeling so good just thinking about it, and id almost finished all of my parts in just one day. those parts are probably one of the best ive ever made in my life (am i exaggerating... im not even sure!). honestly,,, im very grateful for my friendship with ems, and as i already mentioned, id never felt so carefree before, and spending that time with her really made me feel so good inside and out, its something i want to always keep close when im struggling, and im so glad that this collab shows exactly that side of me, of her, and of us.
LONG STORY SHORT: this is basically the most positive video that will ever be uploaded on this channel, and you all owe it to ems, so you can just go and thank her right now. (please just do it)
ALSO lets give her a shoutout because its the first collab she took care of when it comes to cutting the song, assigning the different parts, making the final cut and creating the colouring + the thumbnail!! we dont often talk about that but its a lot of work, and im very proud of her because shes done everything perfectly.

i really feel like i managed to show my true self in the parts ive made (at least some genuine parts of my self) and its such a huge step for me because it also means ive managed to ACCEPT these parts.

Hermione already knew who Harry was thanks to the books she had read. When she met him, she knew him as the character of her pages. But by remaining by his side, and so from the very first year, she learnt that he was way more than a hero or the protagonist of some books. Harry is the one who taught her that there were more than books and cleverness, and that friendship and bravery was more important. And the reason why is because Harry is one of the only person who saw the real in herself, who accepted the fact that you could be clever while being a Muggle-born, the only one who never made fun of her for being smart, and in the end seeing her as a true friend.
He always saw her when no one did. He was always here. He always listened to her.

This video is very different from my own editing style. First because the tension immediately starts at the beginning, and the video gets calm at the end. I dont know if you have noticed, but I usually do the other way around when I edit. Then, because its the first time I put the voiceovers before the clips, so I completely worked with them instead of working with the clips to put the voices at the end. Finally, the atmosphere is also kind of unusual when it comes to me, and I partially blame it on the very different coloring. But its great to try some new things and I pretty enjoy it that way :)
