This is the final track from the final album released by trumpeter Harry Beckett, who died in July 2010. 'The Modern Sound of Harry Beckett', which was produced by On-U label boss Adrian Sherwood, features Beckett soloing melodically over a series of dub and electronic backdrops; one might describe it as a 21st-century version of Miles Davis' 'Tutu'. 'Are You Sitting Comfortably?' is one of the most overtly dub-sounding cuts on the record; as well as Beckett, it features Orphy Robinson on vibes.
