This was a repair with no RX audio, a wire off the delta tune switch & the worry as to whether the retro-fitted crystal filter installed at some point in the radio's life was installed or working properly. Looks like it's fine.


Mr Chippie drove along our usual 6-mile test route, the 'wrong side' of a hill. He stopped at the five mile point to test this set as a low power static test. The radio was set for 4.0W for full power & 0.4W (400mW) for low power. Our own standard replacementl mike was used throughout. At the end, the factory original mike was demonstrated through to our base station.

A bit of an abrupt end.

Our continued thanks to Thunderpole for kindly supplying the T3000 radio (and new mike) which is fitted to the test vehicle at no cost to us. This is the sole reason for the 'paid promotion' marker on this video.
