As promised, here's our SAF Generator performance chart. Remember this is just our Version 1 SAF generator. We can make all kinds of improvements and tweaks to the performance of our generator because WE do all of the machining in house for it! -Pretty cool huh? This chart compares the performance of the very first one we made to the second one we made with some improvements in machining (removing some eddy current interactions) and improving the bearings. We still have units 3 and 4 to test. Next week we'll add a torque meter to the mix and then we can see the actual power applied at the shaft so we will be able to calculate our SAF generator efficiency with that extra data point.
