In this video, I'll demonstrate a simple technique to increase the size of a room. The room in question is around 60 square feet and has a cold and cramped appearance due to its grey marble finish. We removed the shiny surface of the marble and smoothed it out with Planipatch. Then we applied SM primer and installed a peel-and-stick membrane. Next, we applied Bona glue and installed an engineered hardwood floor. The lighter color of the flooring made the room appear bigger, brighter, and warmer. I hope this method will be useful for you in a similar project.
