Well, this has been a LONG time coming. So happy to have this done, shoutout to Renn for locking and and getting this project finished, couldn't have done it without you.

I talked a little bit about the the revamp of this level in the intro of the layout video, but I thought I'd talk more about it here. I originally set out to remake this level almost 4 years ago, and I feel like I really missed the mark. Everything interesting, cool, unique, and memorable about the original Plasma Doom Machine was completely removed in favor of a very lackluster and uninteresting layout. Since then I've grown a lot as a creator and as a host, I still struggle to release projects in a timely manner, but I feel like my heart is in the right place now. I feel like I'm starting to understand my source material and how to expand on it now.

This is also why DBI has taken as long as it has, I've ended up going back and reimagining it in a more authentic manner as well.
