Yes, the game was released under the name "Ultracore".
BUT...
I would like to play the original game.
The prototype was completed (99%).
They decided to release the game under the name Ultracore , since they did not have the rights to the name Hardcore.
The original gameplay was also changed. Initially, the player could only use two types of weapons: the main standard weapon. And also an additional one that could be changed in weapon boxes.
This gives the gameplay replayability and depth.
In Ultracore, the player can carry all types of weapons that he finds.
Therefore, weapon boxes become useless by the middle of the game.
Also, for some reason, the "Hard" difficulty level was removed.
