The Basics
If you've ever played Path of Exile, they have a system where they make brand new severs for X amount of time. These servers come with special debuffs on them, with new hardcore accounts being made on them to compete with one another.
The idea would essentially be this but for RS3.
Rules and how it would work?
Everyone is to make a brand new HCIM (preferably everyone starting closely alongside each other after the 10th of October)
Then everyone would race to be the first person to kill QBD (without dying of course as you're a hcim btw)
If you die, you're out of the game and cannot make a new character.
Info in regards to time tracking and fairness
You would track in-game time to kill QBD with Hans.
So even if everyone starts at the same time - you wont have to stay online for 24 hours+ at a time grinding to win.
This way it wont matter as much how much free time someone may have to progress each day.
The event will span across a month. (If a month has passed and you still haven't killed QBD, then you fail)
But... This wouldn't be simply killing QBD, There would be special debuffs/limitations added!
First of all, this is a solo challenge - NO GROUP ACTIVITIES ALLOWED - Example: Ed1 xp boost carries etc
All combat styles are allowed, and all quests are now allowed also - For variety in paths/directions of leveling for diverse content.
The Debuffs that will be applied to this race are as follows:
No Antifire shield for the QBD fight
Death touch dart from the merchant is not allowed.
No Dailies/Weeks/Monthlies allowed - You are allowed to do D&D's like Tuska's though if you see fit.
What's the reward!?
The winner will get a custom piece of artwork commissioned for them with their new HCIM (wearing what they killed QBD in during the challenge) with their nametag above it & a golden crown, standing over QBD's corpse in a fantastic fashion!

I've ironed out the rules and gathered a lot of feedback, this should be pretty much the final product - it'll be starting on the 10th of October hopefully with some assistance/promotion from Jagex too!
