This is for Pokemon League's thunder badge! The challenge is to focus on storytelling and out of the three prompts I had, I chose to attempt something horror-themed.

I used a couple of SexyShoopuf's greenscreens here to make my life a hell of a lot easier. (Basically, if it's Crisis Core over a FFVII remake background that's thanks to her).

So, naturally, I just ripped off Silent Hill 2, with all the knowledge of someone who hasn't watched Silent Hill 2 in like a decade. (I've never played it, I'm way too much of a wimp). Basic plot goes as follows:

Cloud gets a letter from Zack asking him to meet him in Silent Hill - only problem is, Zack died some time ago. Too curious to resist, Cloud decides to go check out the town but finds himself suffering awful headaches and blackouts the more time he spends there. He encounters what seems to be a malevolent spirit, but it disappears when he tries to attack it.

In another part of the town, he seems to spot Zack walking through the streets in the distance. Desperate to find out what's going on, he follows him - only for him to disappear and the spirit from before to appear in his place. As she approaches, Cloud is overwhelmed by memories - but memories of the time BEFORE Zack's death, which he had repressed, along with all memory of his friend Tifa. The spirit is just a manifestation of his guilt - because he, in a mako-induced stupor, killed both Tifa and Zack.

Aren't I CHEERY? That's about it, I think! I basically only made this because the idea of the chick from Fatal Frame being Tifa with the dark hair and flower motif got stuck in my head.
