SpaceX donated a flown Merlin engine to the Cosmosphere! Join STEM Educator Mary as she talks all about the Merlin 1D engine they donated and the rocket that Merlin engines power, the Falcon 9.

Though we are still working on exhibits, the museum is now entirely walkable, so come see us! The Hall of Space renovation will be finished by the end of 2024. In the meantime, we have info cards and QR codes posted throughout the museum to tell you about the artifacts you're looking at.

Welcome to the Cosmosphere's Hard Hat Series! In this series, we will show you what's going on in the construction areas while parts of our Hall of Space Museum are under renovation and give you an idea of what exciting things are to come, showcase artifacts you may have never seen before, take you on behind-the-scenes tours of the Cosmosphere, and much more! The renovated Hall of Space Museum galleries are set to open in late 2024.
