In this video, we are on a day trip to Mecca from Medina which is at a distance of approx. 450km / 280 miles. The journey by bus/car would usually take 4 to 5 hours but by these high-speed trains that can travel at a max speed of 300km/hr, the travel time between Medina & Mecca is 2 hours 20 minutes!
You can see the economy class seats, luggage space and a short view of the business class end & the cafe. The drinks and snacks trolley and the prices of some of the items!
The trains are very comfortable and convenient for the short journey and we were able to return the same day back to Medina.
