This year was a year of firsts: free admission for six months; the first museum exhibitions on Willi Smith and Suzie Zuzek; the premiere of Cooper Hewitt's first feature-length film; and we presented the first prototypes generated during the Activating Smithsonian Open Access program. Plus who can forget the inspirational National Design Month programming celebrating the 2021 Award winners!
