This video gives directions for making a "Latch Card". The imagery on this card uses the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set and matching Hedgehog Builder punch by StampinUp to create the latch. The video (1) gives dimensions for this card and (2) gives tips for coloring the hedge hogs. The addition of the latch element is at the end of the video.

...A Latch Card can be vertical or horizontal
...The front flap can be any size
...The latch can be any shape: flower, leaf, heart, circle . . . I used the hedgehog on this card. But whatever you choose you will need something to create dimension to lift the latch so it can overhang the front flap. I used Stampin'Up! Dimensionals
