Dad, Thank you for the music we shared! Happy Father's Day 2018

Dad’s Really Matter. Fathers hold a unique place in a daughter’s heart—a place that no one but her dad (and Father God) can fill. Even though my dad wasn’t always available to me, his influence remains a powerful force in my life—shaping me and influencing my life path, as all dad’s do – present or not. One thing we did share was music. I loved singing with him, me on the piano, and him on the guitar. His talents and infectious joy for singing still fill me up, as I continue the tradition. Years ago, we recorded a song that we have sung together before I could strum a guitar—Edelweiss. That precious recording has become priceless to me. So, for Fathers’ day, I made a rock art picture of us playing together over the years, and set it to our tender recording that will last long beyond our short lifetimes. I love you dad. I love you because you are my dad, and because I belong to you. Your conviction to what you believe gives me courage to be firm in mine.
