I first got into GHOST9 when I was going through a really hard time in my life. I was constantly agonising over what I was going to do in the future, agonising over whether I was good enough, completely tormenting myself over every little thing. Dongjun was the first one to catch my eye. After getting to know him (as well as the other boys) a bit more, I began to feel a bit better day by day. The way he strives to become the best version of himself and acknowledges his mistakes spoke so deeply to me. And the way he has so much passion and love for his craft gave me hope and it gave me the drive to keep going and to keep chasing my dreams.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't cry while making this video and while I was reading all of your pain and sadness. I can't even look at an article headline about them anymore.
Even though I have made videos of other groups on this channel, I first created this channel because of GHOST9, my ults. I will still make videos about other groups (because my multistan heart keeps on adopting more kids) but this is and will always be a GHOST9 channel too. Ghosties, this will always be your home. You are always welcome here. One day the pain will go away. Eventually. But pain is also a good thing because it means that Dongjun and Taeseung mean a lot to us. Let the pain you feel now represent the amazing time we had with them as 9, and let us look to the amazing time we will have with them as 7+2.
