Happy birthday Johann Sebastian Bach! 🎉
The German powerhouse/genius was born on 31 March 1685 and is considered not only one of the most important composers of the late Baroque period but among the greatest of the Western classical music tradition. Known for being a strict teacher and a devoted man but also a bit of a rebel (did you know he spent some time in prison?), he composed over 1000 works. He would have turned 339 today - quite a respectable age!
