William is NOT a good father whatsoever. He had good moments, he did have love for his kids and showed genuine care. But that is rare.

It is more frequent that he manipulates them or hurts/neglects them in some way. (Please do not think he’s a good Father, because he’s not. He tried in some areas, but he failed his kids and ruined their lives in both the main au and alive au for HIS selfishness).

There are ‘good times’ with an abuser. No person is constantly abusive, but good times does not equal a good person. They are still abusive and they still will hurt you.

This is why it’s hard for SOME victims to hate their abusers, because the good times give you hope. Or a feeling that just maybe they arent so bad (they are), or a feeling that it may be your fault that there are bad times and that you are ‘overreacting’ (You are not and its never your fault).


William is a human being, he isnt like 100% pure evil. In my au, he does love his kids in his way..
