Another anniversary! Happy 67th to the Matterhorn Bobsleds!

Opening on June 14, 1959, the Matterhorn became Disneyland’s first mountain attraction and the world’s first tubular steel roller coaster. Inspired by the famous Swiss peak, it has thrilled generations of guests with its icy caverns, winding bobsled track, and legendary Abominable Snowman.

67 years later, the Matterhorn remains one of Disneyland’s most iconic attractions and a lasting symbol of Walt Disney’s innovation and imagination.
