Als Geek Lab | Happy 25th Birthday Windows 95 (Install & Review) @AlsGeekLab | Uploaded August 2020 | Updated October 2024, 9 hours ago.
#Microsoft #Windows 95 is 25! Here's a quick look back at some of the things that #Win95 brought us that we probably forgot about!
Windows 95 was the first fully-fledged home/consumer 32-bit operating system for PC's. Every Windows before it was effectively just a 16-bit shell around #MS-DOS. Windows 95 brought so many new things, it's hard to think about how Windows would look now, if it had not been for '95!
So, let's Start Me Up and listen to the Rolling Stones as we look down memory lane at some of the breakthrough features of Windows 95. I also show a quick run-through of installing Win 95, and you can also see the product launch. It still brings shivers to my spine!
