Happy 100th Anniversary, Viestenz‑Smith Mountain Park! 🎉If you haven't been there, our mountain park is just a few miles up Highway 34 in the canyon. What started in the 1920s alongside the historic Loveland Light & Power plant has grown into 400 acres of picnics, hikes, splashing in the river, and a lot of confident rocks and landscape shaped by the 1976 and 2013 floods.
Our City park that just happens to double as a unique mountain treasure, welcomes visitors with ADA‑friendly fishing access, a nature cabin, a rustic‑themed play area, and meandering paths that practically insist you take “just one more photo.”
