Where do I begin with this one?

The retro sound and yet today's underground vibe runs the gamut with this incredible edit of Hanna Hais' classic track. Tricked and treated, Mr. Fingers aka Larry Heard conjures up a super deep offering that captures the mind and soul, delivering that separation in space and time which leaves the weight of the world miles away from the spirit.

Hearing this brings a smile as it reminds me so much of Europe but also the deep sounds of some of New York's most posh ultra-lounges. Also makes me think of the missed connecting flight in Paris a few years ago. For some reason I wasn't mad at all as I listened to such tunes, gazing out onto the jetway and at the people at nearby gates and cafes. The French are way too cool.

Maybe I'll go to a lounge soon and soak up the vibe, observe the reactions to the sounds and catch the eye of an onlooker or three, maybe even discover some new sounds to share.

Too cool to dance to this one but should she convince me to my feet, I hope she is ready for what comes with it...
